The pre-differential design of Record brake calipers was identical to these Centaur calipers. In fact, you get Record brake pads and pad holders, which means you get the same extent of orbital adjustability as Record. Perhaps the most Record-like component in the Centaur gruppo.

Bottom Line:

Mine are the '03-'04 models. Very good stopping power with original pads, great adjustability, reliable, typical nice Campy build & finish, and only about an ounce heavier than 'Differential' Chorus. Modulate well and don't fade. These are the same calipers as my '00 Records.

Great value, but gets a '4' Overall because there's something called Zero Gravity - if you have the shekels.
