2010 Force brakes get trickle-down technology from Red. They have dropped weight by removing excess material in the arms leading to the cable housing stop. The pivots run on ball bearings for smooth reliable braking and long life. The only things they don't have that Red still does are cut-out brake pad holders, titanium bolts, and the price tag. I just realized that the SRAM Force 22 groupset that I bought in December has a braze on front derailleur but I need a clamp on.
My question is should I buy/exchange for a clamp on derailleur or just buy a braze on adapter? I see that SRAM makes an adapter. Is there any difference?

I found some 11 speed 52x36 FSA chainrings when I went to put them on the force 22 crankset now has a hidden chainring bolt, under the crank arm, the sram chainring has threads in the hidden hole, how can I get these chainrings to work? I can't find any sram 52x36 rings.Read More »
