Strengths: Sometimes when decending hills I start to gain too much momentum. These levers make it easier and safier to got slowed down. at least the way I ride.Weaknesses: They don't have the braking force of the regualr brake handle.Bottom Line: I put these on a fixed gear bike. On a fixed gear you can't coast so these levers give me the option of changing my riding position and giving my arthritic hips a break. They also make it easier to get slowed down while spinning down hills.

Strengths: Allow you to use your brake while in that up-right or touring position.Weaknesses: To install it, you have to re-grip your handle bar, get new brake cables and kinda difficult to install.Bottom Line: It is awesome! Especially good for those come from a mountain bike background. So when you are taking it easy in that upright or touring position, you are able to brake in that same position.
