at came with the brakes Summary: 2 months of Michigan's winter conditions wore them down way past the wear lines. I know Michigan has crappy weather, but no brake pad should last that short. I hate to think what I'm doing to my rims - but not for much longer, since my next set of pads will be Kool Stops. Weaknesses: short life in winter

| | Bike Setup: Gazelle Demax (slooping, oversized and tapered Reynolds 531) Dura-Ace Time club fork Mavic Cosmic Equipe wheels Summary: Be sure which type of Dura-Ace pads to use... and evaluate. Strengths: The soft version works very well on non-ceramic rims. The compound of these pads is the same as the former 8 speed pads. Weaknesses: The firm version that was initially shipped with all new Dura-Ace groupsets was too agressive on many rims (including my Campagnolo Omega and Mavic Cosmic Equipes), resulting in excessive wear and insufficient braking. I even found small parts of rim in the brake pads! Similar Products Used: -
