The Transfer Lite Short Sleeve Base Layer does even more work than what's possible with standard synthetic yarns because it's made with a soft inner layer called Minerale. It has fifteen times the surface area of normal polyester yarns to help it wick sweat directly from your skin like a sponge. The beauty is that it doesn't absorb moisture, rather it spreads it out on the surface of the fabric for maximum evaporation -- leaving you feeling dry and comfortable regardless of the outside temperature. In fact, it dries 50% faster than standard polyester fabric. Minerale also prevents the growth of bacteria that can cause the familiar synthetic aroma to take hold of your cycling clothing.
