Strengths:    Deffinately not for the gel crowd, but provide the perfect blend of dampening and feel, while keeping your hand cool. Durable, great elastic cuff, and stylish.

Weaknesses:    Like I said minimalist padding could be viewed as a weakness, personally I love it. Only other thing is I opted for white, which show dirt quickly, but I have not yet tried to clean them. Kinda pricey, but you get what you pay for

Bottom Line:
Assos Summer Glove: I love it! Perfect amount of ventilation, and just enough padding to take the sting out of bumps and cracks.

Strengths:    Comfortable, look cool, light weight

Weaknesses:    none, maybe a bit pricey

Bottom Line:
Some of the best padded gloves on the market. Just did the hotter than hell 100 mile and hands felt great during and after the ride with no pain.

Strengths:    cool in summer

Weaknesses:    none

Bottom Line:
These gloves are the best. Just a bit of padding that lets you feel the bike. Not a bunch of gel to get in the way. No velcro to snag you other clothes on in the washer

Strengths:    Fabrics and materials

Weaknesses:    Poor padding, too expensive, no velcro closure, bad location of kevlar insert...

Bottom Line:
This is a review for the Prosline gloves. Didn't like them, the fact that they don't have the usual velcro strap at the front of the hand makes them a nightmare when trying to take them off. I aslo like paddy gloves and if you think they have plenty of it, look anywhere else. The only good things about them is the materials, nice colors, great ventilation mesh at the back, nice kevlar insert but bad location I think. Those little bands to pull them off are also handy but don't work very well if you don't have the velcro closure (again). I end all my rides with sore hands after using these gloves.

Anyone Have Both Assos S5 and S7 Bib Shorts?

I am curious about any perceived differences in comfort between the Assos S5 and S7 bib shorts, particularly the popular S5 Mille and the S7 Cento. Both are the "long distance" style that I believe are executed differently in the S5 and S7 bibs. So, I am just interested of the assessments of anyone ... Read More »

Assos Mille f5

Looking for a pair of Assos Fi.Mille F5 bibs long cut in large all black, and I can't find anyone online that has them in stock that size for a reasonable price (relative term reasonable with Assos). Thinking I should be able to find them around or under $200 shipped based on some sites that carry ... Read More »

Assos Bib Shorts

OK, So I got an email from Excel Sports last night about some new Assos Bib shorts that they now have in stock. I clicked on the link and low and behold. I could not believe this. $520.00 for a pair of shorts. I know Assos makes some good quality stuff, but dam, these shorts cost more than my ... Read More »

Assos Bib Sizing

I had a mix up on one of my orders. The vendor has offered to make it up to me by giving me a very deep discount on a pair of Assos NeoPro S7 bib shorts. I am right on the edge of Med and Large sizing. I am 5' 10.5 and 158 lbs. 32.5 inch waist. 38.5 inch chest. Would you go Medium or Large?Read More »
