DESCRIPTION
The Assos Thermax fabric. They're thin, water-resistant, and warm. They have a double-layer Roubaix cuff to prevent heat loss, and if your hands somehow get wet, they'll retain heat. Beyond their excellent thermal insulation is the amazing windblocking ability of the Airblock material built into the gloves -- a magical touch that plays a huge part in preventing your hands from getting frigid in the first place.

They kept my hands warm but the quality was bad. These things are HIGHLY flammable. Way too much money for the job they do, and they have very poor durability

Light, warm, flexible, good for cold days/nights (not freezing), if thin padding is your option go for these.
Durability.
Nice gloves, they're really comfy and warm, really suitable for cold days (41F/5C to 60F/15C) if going down you'll be frizing your fingers, go up and they will toast your hands. What I appreciate is how thin and flexible they are compare with other winter gloves. Don't expect to get much padding, these have just a kind of reinforcement where other gloves have real thick foam or gel, there's also a kevlar insert on the bottom of the palm, it's kind of strange location but if you are on the hoods for long time you'll like it. As usual with Assos this is an outstanding product but durability has been always the weakest link for them, the LH glove got loose threads between the fingers after 3 months of usage. This is way I gave them 4 stards instead of 5.
