Strengths: Date of manufacture is on label.Weaknesses: Too much padding on the palm, cheap materials, no wrist closure.Bottom Line: I have the Fall, 2006 PI full-finger Gel-Lite gloves. I got these on sale for half price, so I gave them a try, despite negative reviews. I found the padding was too thick on the center of the palm, made it uncomfortable to wear. Materials are cheaper in look and feel than the 2003 model. Wrist closure no longer included. Went back to using the 2003 model. If anyone from PI is reading this, I have an idea - bring back the 2003 model of the Gel-Lite glove, it was much better than what you are making now.

Strengths: Long wearing, comfortable, nice elastic wrist closure, quality materials.Weaknesses: No longer available.Bottom Line: These are full finger PI Gel-Lite gloves purchased around 2003. These gloves have been great, no holes, little wear, just a one inch long tear between the wrist elastic and glove body. Much of the gel has been lost, but enough remains to be a comfortable glove. It appears from the other reviews that the new PI Gel-Lite gloves do not compare in quality to the older ones, and that's a shame.

Strengths: Good fit and comfortableWeaknesses: Holes in the palm
Bottom Line: Good fit. Comfortable on the bars.
I probably have just over 1000 miles on them and they are developing holes in the palm.
Sorry, can't recommend them

Strengths: Comoftable when brand new.
Weaknesses: The entire product.Bottom Line: Were pretty comfortable for awhile but the gel soon began to dissapate. The gel pad under the base of the fingers went first, then the one near the thumb. For some reason they place a gel pad around the bottom inside of your palm which doesn't do anything, after a year it doesn't even have a mark on it.
Right hand glove has two large holes in it and is basically falling apart.
I really thought I was going all out buying name brand Pearl gloves for the first time to replace my several year old Trek gloves. After one year these have worn more then about 6 years with the Treks.

Strengths: comfortable at first?Weaknesses: Everything. Before the gel pads DISINTEGRATED, they weren't where I put pressure on the bar. Giant holes form every where even with normal use.Bottom Line: Overall very bad. I thought they would be nice but they were terrible. They didn't cover where I put pressure anywhere on the bar. Also the gel pretty much disintegrated . Also tons of holes form all over them.
