Strengths: BG pads.
Look kinda cool.
Comfortable.Weaknesses: Difficult to get on and off.
Trim is falling off.Bottom Line: Good idea but not so good execution.
The main complaint I have about these gloves is that all the trim stuff is falling off. The Specialized red stuff on the palms is gone. The body geometry words are missing letters. The white circumscribing around the logo is detaching.
I mean, for top of the line gloves, they made some surprisingly poor choices in materials.
Overall, decent, but I would recommend you look at the newer versions (bought mine in 2001).
BTW, I don't have the complaints about the pads that the other guys do, but maybe that's just me.

Strengths: NoneWeaknesses: Pad, painBottom Line: I agree w/ all of the previous comments. These gloves are the worst I have ever worn. The pad is improperly placed and the area around the fingers really begins to rub/hurt after an hour or so. Look elsewhere.
