Favorite Ride:
any

Bike Setup:
Cervelo Solist Team

Summary:
I have had the helmet over 3 years now I am guessing.
I am a chick with a smallish head, fits perfect and I still can not justify a new helmet as it works wonderfully for me. I wash the pads every time I ride, I am guessing they stand up as well and as any others.

Strengths:
Not expensive compared to the newer models. The small size fits my head well.

Weaknesses:
none

Price Paid:  $90.00 at TiCycles

Favorite Ride:
Anything in the Olypics or Cascades

Bike Setup:
Specialized S-Works E5 and Shimano DA.

Summary:
Does it's job well. Went over the bars in a crash this weekend. Saw that I wasn't going to be able to avoid the carnage unfolding in front of me, and as the front wheel hit the mass of bodies and bikes, and the rear started lifting up off the ground, I tucked my chin to my chest, crossed my arms on my lower torso, and hoped for the best. The endo flung me so that the top of my (thankfully helmeted) head hit the pavement first (I literally thought "let's hope this helmet works and all I have is a stiff neck") Not even a concussion or headache.

Aside from that, I've always liked the Pneumo's adjustability with the RocLoc system. It's does a pretty good job of venting.

Strengths:
Impact protection, fit, adjustment.

Weaknesses:
Every helmet fails on this, but they should give you an extra set of pads as a season or two of sweating pretty much destroys the pads that come with the helmet.

Similar Products Used:
Giro helios, boreas, and eclipse. My head seems to fit Giro's better.

Bike Setup:
2004 Lemond Zurich stock

Summary:
I've had this helmet for 3 years now. For me, the helmet is great on short rides but after 5 miles, the helmet becomes very uncomfortable. It seems to pinch down on my forehead. I've placed extra pads all around and it didn't help any. Much like motorcycle helmets, I guess I'll have to pick one for the shape of my head. Also, the pads seem to deteriorate after 6 months of continuous use.

Strengths:
Nice look, great ventilation

Weaknesses:
Lousy fit for me, inferior pads, high priced

Favorite Ride:
Any given Sunday

Bike Setup:
Tuscany w/Ultegra, prior Giant TCR.

Summary:
I got my first pneumo for Christmas to replace my five year old bell. The fit was phenominal and the helmet has been comfortable for long rides.

Last weekend I was in a 4 bike crash and wound up getting tossed over my handlebars and landing on my head. The pneumo did what it was supposed to do, and I'm still here to tell you about it.

I've already replaced the Pneumo with another one.

Strengths:
Fit is good. Venting is good. Rock-Lock works.

Weaknesses:
Price (ouch).

Summary:
This helmet fit great in the store... when standing up. In the riding position though, my head is cocked back a little and the adjusting/rachet clasp in the back dug into the back of my neck. Had to return it.

Strengths:
(almost) a great fit

Weaknesses:
the adjusting/rachet clasp
