at Supergo Favorite Ride: Anything paved Bike Setup: Schwinn 700GS, Light & Motion Commuter light. Summary: Just started commuting daily to work, needed a lid for protection in traffic. Three priorities: fit, ventilation and weight. Fit is #1 because I have sensitive areas on my skull due to brain surgery a few years ago (which forced me to give up motorcycling). This lid is perfect. It fits well and has a gap in the padding precisely where my "soft spot" is. Thumbwheel adjuster is great and allows helmet to feel almost as comfortable as a baseball cap. Strengths: It actually fits my head!
Excellent adjustability. Weaknesses: Other reviewers have mentioned ventilation. Ventilation effectiveness won't be tested until the weather warms up (defined as over 105) next summer. Right now, it's fine in mere 95 degrees. Similar Products Used: Tried Giro E2 - good fit, cost $20 more (on sale) and available at Supergo in white only. All others below $100 fit just awful!

at REI Bike Setup: road, mountain, and tandem Summary: Excellent fit, solid feel. One of the best fitting helmets and adjustment systems I've tried. I returned it after a few weeks because for my lumpy head it was not as well ventilated as my old Giro Hammerhead. The top ventilated OK but the forehead area was significantly less ventilated than several other helmets I've used. We have hot summers here, so it's back to Giro. Strengths: Fit

Protection appears good Weaknesses: Relatively less ventilation than I like Similar Products Used: Giro Hammerhead and older models
