Strengths: Full plastic shell. nice vents.Weaknesses: none yetBottom Line: Great Helmet. Much cooler than my Giro Exodus, and the velcro has stayed on. The full palstic cover is nice, lots of room to put silly stickers on.

Strengths: Looks fastWeaknesses: Chin strap feels a bit awkward. Front padding design not optimal. Channels sweat to the middle of the pad, then drips in front of your face. I cut the pad to change the shape. It helped a little, but still have some problems from time time. Hope Bell is listening. Never had this problem with my $35 Giro. Would have rated a perfect 5 if not for this problem.Bottom Line: Good comfortable helmet. Great fit. Easy to adjust size. Forehead padding drips sweat down the front of my sunglass.

Strengths: Way sleek. Makes you look like you are going fast even when you are standing stillWeaknesses: priceBottom Line: Good Lid. My old one was definatley not going to save my brain in a digger. pricey but sleek. comes with extra padding. i like the lock system in the back. you can shake your skull violently but when clipped, your brain basket ain't going nowhere

Strengths: Microshell top and bottom wrap prevents dings on an expensive helmet (no foam is exposed to susceptible areas)...LIGHT! A helmet that looks great and fast rivaling that of the Boreas and Pneumo.Weaknesses: Bell like most manufacturers should provide extra padding to be used as replacements for the future. The padding is ok but I can't say that it's the best but it does its job well.Bottom Line: I bought this helmet used hence the $50 price tag. However, the owner only used it twice because he ended up getting a Giro Pneumo (his dream helmet I suppose). Just my luck. I needed a road helmet since it looks pretty stupid wearing a mountain helmet on a road bike. The Bell Retention fit is great and the adjustable velcro straps are great. I prefer this than Giros Roc-Loc or Trek proprietary retention fit. With both Giro and Trek, you have to push the retention fit together to tighten it and sometimes, the fit just isn't right. The elastic strap on velcro makes it much easier.
The vents are enormous and the helmet is LIGHT! I was recently on an epic ride (hotter than hell) and I hardly noticed the helmet being there. The cavernous vents are great and much like the Pneumo, you can see through this helmet as well.
Last but not the least, the helmet's top and bottom mold prevents it from getting damaged easily. Have you ever had a helmet that had minor dents on the foam padding due to minor bumps? Look no further on this one. It's a great little thing and I often wonder why most manufacturers don't do it to all their helmets.
