Price Paid:  $149.00 at my LBS (CycleMotive

Bike Setup:
custom built: Giant TCR C1 frame. All Ultegra, except for a Dura Ace cassette. Easton Tempest II Carbon wheels. FSA carbon wing bar and stem. Giant carbon seatpost. Specialized Alias saddle. Look Keo Sprint pedals.

Summary:
Overall very good in almost all the areas that matter to me (ventilation, weight, looks). Could do better on the fit, but I suppose that's a personal choice.

Given to my wife after settling on a Bell Ghisallo.

Strengths:
Very breezy and light. If it wasn't for the safety endorsements, I'd have to wonder if it's actually effective as a helmet, but of course it is! Also, it looks pretty trick.

Weaknesses:
I find the locking mechanism a little chintzy for the price. I ended up buying a Bell Ghisallo, which matches the Atmos on everything, and still has a better locking mechanism. It's more durable, and has a more positive actuation compared to the Atmos. Also, the Bell came with two sets of replacement pads, and they're washable.

Similar Products Used:
Bell Ghisallo, Bell Sweep. Specialized Decibel.

Price Paid:  $60.00 at Performance ($100) &

Bike Setup:
A couple of different things ... who cares? They're all underneath this helmet.

Summary:
I picked up my first Atmos when I worked at Performance. I've always used Giro MTB helmets and was pleased with the fit and feel of the Atmos. It's incredibly light which is great when riding in hot or humid weather.

The fit system has worked fine for me. Once I lock in the fit, it stays with me until I'm done riding.

As for dents, let's be honest: if you've got helmet spikes going in your hair after a ride, who's going to notice a pad imprint on your forehead? Besides, I've never noticed it!

I'm now on to my second one. I wanted one that I could dedicate for night riding as I didn't want to tool ... emphasis on "tool" ... around with a light mount on my helmet all summer. Besides, for the price ($60) who could pass this up.

I've come to realize that I really only feel comfortable in Giro helmets. I don't know what it is about their helmets and my big fat head but I just like their fit better. I've tried others but always come back to Giro.

Strengths:
Light ... light ... light.

Weaknesses:
I can't think of any.

Giro MTB helmets ... Animas is the way to go there!

Price Paid:  $150.00 at Performance

Favorite Ride:
Long

Bike Setup:
Cannondale

Summary:
Good Helmet. For the price i would have expected a little better fit. The ACU adjuster at helmet tie-in feels like a nail sticking into my head..Maybe its just my head?

Strengths:
Light, looks sweet, breaths great, fits good with one small exception

Weaknesses:
Chin straps never feel like they are in the right place and the acu adjuster has a little bit of a comfort problem. Like others have said . it leaves dent in your head.. The padding in the top of the helmet doesnt do anything..it seems as if it is there no cusion on the top. Maybe i havent found my correct chin strp location yet but the top of the helmet is going to get my own little PAD put into it. For all i know i hit my head a couple of days ago and have a bump there and forgot.. i dont know!!?? It might seem like im over reacting a little,i have been through 3 helmets , and i DID pick this one..
