Strengths:    Nice fit, plenty of air

Weaknesses:    already cracking after 2 years, wont stand behind product. this helmet also wistles

Bottom Line:
After wearing this helmet for two years I noticed 2 different cracks in the helmet near the molded holes on the underside. One in the center of the front of the helmet and one in the rear off center to the right. Both cracks are located on similar features on different parts of the helmet indicating some sort of manufacturing flaw. This is not the only helmet I where and I live in a climate that does not allow for year round biking so it hasn't been overused or abused.I contacted Garneau and they are unwilling to do anything about it other than suggest I buy a new helmet

Strengths:    Beautiful helmet, fits my head well. Crash tested and worked perfectly.

Weaknesses:    POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - No response to two emails through their "contact us" website.

Bottom Line:
I have been very happy with this helmet, fits great looks great, and is very sturdy. A few weeks ago I was knocked off by a car and wham! my head took most of the impact. The helmet held up good, and my head wasn't even bruised. Here's the bad part... I tried to contact LG as I can't find a dealer near me. After a week of waiting for a response, and receiving none - I again sent them my request. Still nothing. It's now been a month and no response from LG. So I was very happy with their product, but it appears they really don't care about me as a customer. If I can find another LG I might buy it, but I'm not as sold as I was before - that's for sure. Giro has some nice models, so it may be time to see what they have.

Strengths:    Extrememly well vented and comfortable
Very easy to adjust for headband/do rag
Saved my melon in a crash
Incredible customer service

Weaknesses:    None

Bottom Line:
I bought this helmet for several reasons. I have had very good experience with other LG products (Alveo short, gloves) and wanted a helmet that was not the typical Giro. Ultimately what decided it for me is the ease of sizing with the spider lock adjustment. I often ride with a head band so it is great to be able to easily adjust the size to accomidate for it. After one ride I was completely sold. This is by far and away the coolest helmet (we are talking Florida heat and humidity) that I have ever tried. The retention system feels so much more sturdier that my wife's Bell Sweep helmet. But what has prompted me to write the review is that a few days ago I had a crash that sent me over the handle bars and turned backward. I landed on my back and struck the back of my head on the pavement. Though a bit dazed and road-rashed, I was able to cycle home. When I took off my helmet there were 5 good sized cracks in the back, and I didn't even have a sore spot on my head. If not for the Titan Carbon I am sure it would have been a trip to the ER or worse. In addition, after 2 emails to LG USA they are going to send me a new helmet and even paying for return shipping since I have moved and can't return to LBS. The quality of the helmet and customer service have been over the top good. Highest recommendations.
