Strengths: Head protection, weightWeaknesses: chin strapBottom Line: I have been using the ippogrifo fora few years and was knocked off my bike by a car. I had little time to react and landed head first on the road. The helmet to the brunt of the fall and my head remained intact. I dont even have a bruise on my head. My concussion lasted about 5 days but thanks to my helmet, I am alive today.

Strengths: Vents, Design, Comfort, Weight, Price (AUD$110).Weaknesses: Strap dividers may require frequent readjusting, but this is no big deal - its a very secure fit.Bottom Line: Great ventilation, great design, very light, very comfortable - what more can you want out of a helmet?

Strengths: Looks great, light weight (250g)Weaknesses: Not as good at keeping your head cool as it looks.Bottom Line: The helmet looks great and I think its one of the better looking helemts around. Mine is bright yellow. There are heaps of colling vents but it doesn't seem to keep my head as cool as I think it should.

Strengths: But I can tell u its the best looking helmet in my opinion, looks sensational in bright yellow! Its very light, offers good ventilation, straps are easily adjustable with a great micro locking system, could not find a better looking or better featured helmet from Giro,Bell,Specialized etc...Weaknesses: none as yet...Bottom Line: Price paid in Aussie$$$...Haven't had a stack on it yet so can't tell u if it offers good crash protection.

Strengths: Strikingly good looks, excellent air flow, light weight, and decent price.Weaknesses: None observed yet.Bottom Line: I was looking for a higher-end road helmet, and used my trip to Japan to purchase one, since Met helmets aren't sold in US. Around 12,000 Yen (which converted to little less than $100 at the time) it was very affordable compared to Pneumo and S1 (Specialized). The helmet has huge vents that give it a very "edgy" look, and the straps are really easy to adjust. The helmet is lightweight and the air channels on the inside allow the air to flow excellently.
