Product Description

Hold the Assos Fugujack jacket in your hand and its purpose will be clear: provide maximum warmth (it's rated for temperatures of 20-40 degrees) with an absolute minimum of volume. Giving you total freedom of movement was a top priority, as was the ability to regulate your body temperature. While Assos' Airjack 851 jacket is great down to 32 degrees, the Fugujack adds an extra dimension of thermal insulation by incorporating a microfiber inner collar that spans from your lower chest all the way to the top of your neck (like a turtleneck). Chilly wind cannot and will not penetrate the jacket from the neckline, and you'll get this added protection without any added pressure on your chest since the material itself is so thin. In comparing the Fugujack with the Airajck 851, your decision can be made based on one simple question: Do you ride in temps below 32 degrees? If the answer is 'Yes,' then you need to take a long, hard look at the added protection you'll get from the Fugujack. The outer layer of the Fugujack is made from Assos' legendary Airblock 851 fabric, giving you total wind protection. Bomb down a descent on a frigid day and you'll be amazed at how none of the icy air seeps through to your skin through the tradition jacket weak points ? collar, chest, and fronts of arms. The Airblock 851 material is like an impermeable force field against the cold, and it's the perfect complement on the exterior of your Fugujack to the advanced thermal insulation you get on the inside. The Fugujack is built with Assos AEPD II cut, giving you a quality of fit you've never before felt in winter cycling apparel. The AEPD II design is the culmination of Assos' effort to eliminate excess material on the sleeves and chest when you're in your riding position, giving the Fugujack incredible anatomic contouring and allowing you to look your very best. The beauty of its custom-like closeness is that despite the fact it carries less volume, it won't compromise your freedom of movement. An added plus to the Fugujack is that it has Airblock 851 4-way stretch fabric to better conform to the movements of your body. Yes, AEPD II-designed clothing pulls a bit when you're not on your bike, but that's normal because it's made with your riding position foremost in mind. Available in Black, Blue, Red, Titan, White, and Yellow in sizes Small through TIR.
