Who can forget the poignant imagery of a jubilant Team BMC collectively embracing their victorious leader Cadel Evans at the end of the 2011 Tour de France? It's a dream come true for Hincapie Sportswear, who designed the kits worn by team BMC. New for 2012 is the Hincapie Equipe Jersey, which lets you wear exactly the same high-performing team-issue jersey (save for the distinctive red and black graphic) as that worn by the BMC Racing Team. The jersey is constructed around Hincapie's proprietary TourTek fabric - a unique ribbed polyester/Lycra blend whose excellent stretch memory hugs your body and reduces your aerodynamic profile. And just as a block of wood gains smoothness from sanding, TourTek has a special micro-sanded backing to enhance its moisture-wicking capabilities while feeling buttery soft against your skin. The jersey's TourTek fabric is punctuated in the underarms, sides, and upper back by Hincapie's Accelerator stretch mesh fabric that maximizes cooling and speeds evaporation in those zones. Both fabric weaves offer SPF 30+ protection from harmful UV rays, effectively shielding your shoulders and back on those long afternoon rides. The full-zip Hincapie Equipe Jersey features three generous back pockets with room enough for all your in-saddle essentials, and is available in Fire, Gunmetal, and True Blue. And in traditional Hincapie sizing, the fit should run slim in your normal jersey size. You may choose from Small through XX-Large sizes.

I tried the Louis Garneau Equipe Bib Shorts and was shocked that the same size I wear I couldn't even get on. I called Garneau and they said the Equipe bib in medium should fit exactly the same as t ... Read More »
Hi everyone. My first post here. I just got a 2013 CAADX 105. I really like the geometry but I will not be competing in cyclocross anytime soon. I'd like to have my bike to be more road worthy. I was just at REI in Northville, MI and happen to come upon some closeouts. The mavics are being sold sepa ... Read More »
I realize this is a highly "intimate" and personal thing, but I still wish to get some feedback regarding the Louis Garneau Equipe and Pearl Izumi Elite bib shorts. I will likely just have to try both, to ultimately judge.
Any input, feedback, ideas or suggestions?
How is the sizing between those ... Read More »
