Strengths:    Great Old School Styling. Well thoughtout placement for pump and ipod pockets. Love the Wool for warmth.

Weaknesses:    Quality Control. Length in the sleeves inaccurate on the website sizing chart compared to actualy product received and how it fits.

Bottom Line:
I would give this product a 5 star for styling alone. However, I have to rate it a 3 simply due to fitment issues. HATE the made in Chinese quality. Arm length listed as 24.4-25.2 inches long on the Rapha website. My arms are 24 inches long. The jersey sleeves are actually shorter in the arm by 1.5 inches. Fits great everywhere but not in the short sleeves. So if your arms fall into the 24.4-25.2 inch range, don't get the medium. To wear this jersey requires shorter arms. The other measurements listed on the website are accurate, just not the arms. This may be due to an oversight or simply due to the Chinese quality control (which I suspect). Due to the price of $210 and falling short in the lenght of the sleeves, it gets a value of 2.

Strengths:    Look great. The material itself sportwool is great and hard to find. Rapha customer service.

Weaknesses:    very poor quality control of stitching, cheap zipper,

Bottom Line:
Absolutely 100% agree with the previous review on Rapha's jerseys, including this long sleeve jersey. This glaring quality control problem is pretty much confined to their jerseys, which is of course baffling, since this should be the staple product of a cycling apparel company. Hats, booties, pants, etc. are all fabulous. Also, take note, Rapha customer service is second to none. If you have a problem, they will replace it and have let me change sizes in the past. A great, albeit young, company.

Strengths:    Good looks, good features, good fit, and material looks and feels decent.

Weaknesses:    Quality, seems, zippers, Made in China but priced like bespoke London tailored shirt or hand made in Switzerland. Must be great profit margins on these.

Bottom Line:
Rapaha clothes look really good and seem well designed, however a big but, especially for the price is the 'Made in China' quality. For a $200 jersey made in China where you know this can cost about $10 or less to make, it better be fantastic both fit, finish, look and quality. Not quite for the two Rahpa jerseys I have. The seams are loose and come out right away before I even used one, loose threads hanging blocking the zipper, cheapo plastic zipper. This would be a decent product for half the price, but for $200 it better be perfect, and that it is not. Make these in England please, or have some good quality control at least Rapha!

Canari long sleeve jersey $20

I know some look down on a lower brand like Canari, but I saw that Academy online a pretty decent long sleeve jersey for half off at $20. Spend $50 and get free shipping as well. Wore it on a 50 mile ride today and it was very comfortable. [url=http://www.academy.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Pro ... Read More »

How do your long sleeve jersies wear?

This may end up being a rant without direction but I don't want to be out another fifty bucks: I'm six feet and 222.4lbs (this mornings read), 35 waist so the weight is mostly up top in the shoulders/chest. I recently purchased a mid weight long sleeve jersey in two sizes and I'm face with a fami ... Read More »
