Price Paid:  $299.00 at Velo

Summary:
Light and rigid. The strap system works really well in transitions and having fold in the strap on the outer side of the shoes ensures that flailing straps will hang well clear of the chain and cranks avoiding tangles in transition. Strap is also very secure and creates a snug feeling.

Strengths:
Good power transfer over full pedal stroke. Well priced.

Weaknesses:
They did have a small pressure point in the sole just behind my little toe for the first few weeks but that has subsided now.

Price Paid:  $90.00 at The Tri Store, Eastb

Favorite Ride:
south downs UK

Bike Setup:
QR 202, ultegra, pp396, ksyrium elites.

Summary:
These shoes are brillaint, incredably stiff and light and very comfortable without socks. Easy to get in while attached to the pedals. I've noticed my climbing ability and speed have both increased while wearing these over my specialized sport training shoes. I guess i get an extra 1mph on average speed out of them, can't complain at that. Must be that crabon sole, it's increadably stiff!!

Note price is in pounds sterling.

Strengths:
Comfort without socks, stiffness of sole, lightness, ease at getting feet into them in a hurry

Weaknesses:
If you're not used to putting your feet in while on the bike and a triathletes, use caution with these shoes...the carbon soles might well break if you tried to run in them in transition..it warns of avoiding sharp objects...you have been warned. that said buy them, learn to get on while they're attached and see your T1 and T2 times drop!
