at Nashbar Favorite Ride: Paradise Loop Bike Setup: 2001 Litespeed Vortex, full Dura-Ace, D-A WH-7700 wheels, Time Millenium fork, Forgie stem, Cane Creek S2 headset. Summary: [Note: this review is for the 2004 model, which is slightly different than the one pictured.] I've done about 1,000 miles with these shoes now and they've been spectacular. They fit well (I have standard-width feet) and are very responsive for a non-carbon sole. I was pleasantly surprised at how well-ventilated these shoes are, I've never had problems on hot days. Definitely a lot of shoe for the price. Strengths: Comfortable, well-ventilated, relatively stiff Weaknesses: Not quite as light or stiff as carbon Similar Products Used: Shimano R-214s
