Strengths: Light, stiff, comfortable.Weaknesses: The top strap might put pressure on your ankle, but after break-in, is not a problem.Bottom Line: I love Adidas shoes and these are no exception. Light, stiff, and comfortable. With the shoes having full carbon soles, your power goes directly to the peddles. Extremely durable.

Strengths: Nice looks, good fit.Weaknesses: Poor design resulting in premature fastening strap breakage.Bottom Line: This review is not for the Adistar Pro, but the previous Adistar model with the partial carbon sole (2006 model). I was very happy with these shoes. They looked great, but much more importantly, they fit very well and were super comfortable. After putting about 1500 miles on them, though, the plastic fastening strap unexpectantly fell off, and the shoes are now garbage. It looks like it was caused by a design flaw as the strap is weakened by small holes punched in it where it has been stiched to the shoe. I would highly not recommend this shoe because of this.
