Product Description

You'd expect a shoe with these features to sell for $200 - but you'd be wrong. The Vueltano offers excellent value and performance, with a perforated insole and lasting board to keep you cool, glass-fiber insert plate for stiffness, and open-mesh quick-dry construction.

There's even an intake and exhaust system to encourage cooling via airflow over the entire foot!

Strengths:    Comfortable, well-ventilated, relatively stiff

Weaknesses:    Not quite as light or stiff as carbon

Bottom Line:
[Note: this review is for the 2004 model, which is slightly different than the one pictured.] I've done about 1,000 miles with these shoes now and they've been spectacular. They fit well (I have standard-width feet) and are very responsive for a non-carbon sole. I was pleasantly surprised at how well-ventilated these shoes are, I've never had problems on hot days. Definitely a lot of shoe for the price.
