Strengths:    Snug fit. Laces on the inside and velcro on the outside. Very firm sole transmits power well.

Weaknesses:    Take a little time to break in. The top strap is sort of bulky and tends to rub against the crank arm if you have a low q factor, or protate outward (like I do).

Bottom Line:
These were the replacements for my 10 year old Shimano Road shoes (that I still use on my exercise bike...amazing).

I bought them because I liked the color, and they were dirt cheap. (and still are, see Bike Nashbar.com).

Does that make sense to other cyclists? [IMG]http://dailydigitaldeals.info/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/1 ... Read More »

I can't get away with a bike on the trainer anywhere but the basement. I might be able to put a spin bike upstairs...anyone have a recommendation? I would like to be able to choose my own saddle and I want something with plenty of resistance. My wife has a lemond recumbent that feels like it has no ... Read More »

spin till muscle failure?

I'm just curious how the body reacts when we do interval training on an indoor trainer or a spin bike where on that last few sets you push yourself until you want to cry and your legs are spent. Back when I was into weight lifting we would lift to failure but that was to promote muscle growth and a ... Read More »
