Price Paid:  $99.00 at LBS

Favorite Ride:
Long, Rolling Hills

Bike Setup:
Trek FX 7.3 w/Shimano PD-A520 pedals.

Summary:
There are three things that I really like about the Bontrager shoes: 1) Although they are measured in Euro style, they have American equivalents on the box that are pretty much dead on. My Barney Rubbles are pretty big and the 47's (US 13s) fit perfectly. 2) They are easy to walk in - hence the whole 'street' thing. The sole is still stiff enough to be effective, though. 3) The insoles are nice and comfortable.

My main concerns with the shoe, so far, are that the toes are too pointy. The shoe is nice and wide at the ball of the foot, but then it points in at such a great angle that it is kind of unnatural.

Strengths:
Sizes match up to US equivalents. Easy to walk in. Comfortable.

Weaknesses:
Too pointy from the ball to the tip of the toe.

I tried on a bunch of Shimano shoes.
