At first, I felt this hard piece of something odd pressuring down on the top of my foot. My buddy said the sox I had on were too thin - so I put on a bit thicker socks and for some reason, either he was right or they started breaking in properly....but now I can wear the thin sox and they feel perfect. I just wish they ratchet was a bit quieter, my competition know I'm prepping for the sprint when I start ratcheting the shoe tighter....you cant have it all - great shoes however. Strengths:
Good ratchet system, Carnac recognizes some people have wide feet. Weaknesses:
