Strengths:    Excellent quality of construction. Light weight for a full feature shoe.

Weaknesses:    Cost if paying anywhere near full retail.

Bottom Line:   
Comfortable and light with a stiff carbon sole. This is a full-feature shoe. Designed for a narrow to normal width size foot. Older Carnacs are cut wider than this model. Buckles are robust and closures are well made. No durability issues to date with more than 1,000 road miles. Original insoles were a bit small for the size I had (42.5) and contacted Carnac USA for a larger replacement. About $15 and 2 weeks. Fit now is just right. If you can get this shoe for sub $200 it's a good deal.

Used Sidi Genius 6, Carnac (several models), Time RXS and DMT Legend. Of these, Sidi fits best with the M7 a close comfortable second.
