Strengths: Good grip, well ventilated, light weight, great great look, stiff, comfort, the best for transitions.Weaknesses: None yet found.Bottom Line: Very well designed shoes, specifically thinking on triathletons, besides they look great. I am using the carbon fiber inserts on the soles and to be honest I haven't noticed any difference on using the blue plastic standar inserts instead. They feel great with Speedplay pedals, no flex, very comfortable and confident on sprints, hills and flats. They are a real breeze for transitions. I have also use them for long rides 3+ and still deliver comfort and performance, very well ventilated and off course you can always use shoecovers if it is chilli. I have use may top models on top brands (Sidi, Shimano, etc.) for shoes and think Carnac is one of the best if not the very best.

Strengths: the one strap design makes it fast for transitions. the base is firm and stiff and doesnt cause any loss of power when climbing.Weaknesses: maybe a little bit costly, i would have gone for the TRS 6 if i knew that the feel was not at all that different (i tested my friend's TRS 6).Bottom Line: The one strap design of the shoe makes it very fast and easy to slip on and off during transitions. i love the fact that the strap is facing the outside of the shoe, meaning that you pull the strap off from the outside, unlike the tri shoe from shimano which has the end of the strap facing the crank.
