Strengths: stylish, flexibility of SPD and SPD-SL, easy to walk in, price, laces and velcro closures could be a positive to some.Weaknesses: the sole just isn't that rigid, but I guess I was overly optimistic about what I would get for my $85.Bottom Line: Bought shoe based on positive review in Bicycling Magazine. As I have come to learn, that magazine tends to hype things. These shoes are a comfortable fit but givec me a hot spot under the ball of my right foot after 20 miles. It doesn't matter whether I am riding SPD or SPD-SL. I DO like that you can walk around comfortably with these shoes when not on the bike. However, the hot spot issue is forcing me to replace them with something else.
