On the aerobars with a tailwind!

Bike Setup:
Kestrel Talon, D/A/Ultegra, compact cranks, carbon race wheels, Vision TT bars, usual tri set up...

Summary:
They look OK and are quite functional with a with a roomy fit around the toe box.
But they are heavy.
Worse still both buckles snapped after a season and luckily not during a race...

Strengths:
Cheap, functional, and comfortable...

Weaknesses:
Heavy and buckles snapped...

Price Paid:  $100.00 at LBS

Bike Setup:
Cannondale Ironman

Summary:
Good shoe for the price.

Strengths:
1. inexpensive
2. strap opens to the outside + big heel loop making for easy tansitions
3. warm weather and cold weather insoles make it possible to ride these tri shoes in the spring and fall, not just summer
4. durable (I have ridden for 4 years)

Weaknesses:
1. a little heavy (plastic not carbon)
2. not lined as comfortably as many other tri shoes (although I was still able to ride without socks with no problems)
3. not the best heel cup (for my feet at least)

Similar Products Used:
Carnac TRS7, SIDI T2, + many road shoes

Bike Setup:
Klein Aeolus

Summary:
This is a great shoe for triathlons or road riding. I've ridden these with socks and barefoot with no issues at all. I love the vents on the soles.

Strengths:
Lots of ventilation. My feet don't sweat in these things. Comes with both vented & Non vented insoles for the colder days.

Weaknesses:
None
