Strengths: - great price/value
- great fit for my feet
- big toe boxWeaknesses: - none found yet.Bottom Line: Had been looking for shoes for a while to replace my aged Times. Have had many good experiences w/ Garneau - all of their stuff is quality and good price points. Performance LBS was running a 30% coupon, these were in stock in my size so got 'em.
I have wide feet, fit great. Big toe box, which was a major requirement for me. Other shoe brands I've tried on (shimano, specialized) I needed to go up a size so my toes wouldn't feel cramped, but the Garneau's were perfect.
Also the heel cup on the Garneau just fit me right. I have raced about 20 times in these shoes now, plus lots of other rides, and rarely feel the need to tighten the straps much, because the heel feels so secure.
Quality looks good, time will tell. Setup / cleat mounting was easy w/ shimano road cleats.
