Strengths: Light
Stiff
Rock solid heel
Easy adjustable velcro straps - much better than buckles
Good looking colors
Well ventilated for riding in the Texas heat
Inexpensive for carbon soled shoesWeaknesses: I didn't get mine on saleBottom Line: I rode a pair of DMT's for a few seasons but they were always a little tight in the toe box. So I wanted something wider. I picked up some Northwaves based on some rec's in the forums here. I have been very pleasantly surprised. Even with the wide toe box, the heel is rock solid.
They are every bit as good as any Sidi or DMT on the market, at 2/3's the price. A+ across the board. Light, stiff, good looking. What more could you want.

Strengths: stiff soles
the italiano look
adjustabilityWeaknesses: none really, previous nw's had a problem with the sole coming unattached from the carbon, but these don't seem to have that issue. GREAT SHOESBottom Line: I've used Northwave off and on for years, but I found these to be the best northwaves I've ever owned. stiff, yet comfortable. I never once got hot spots and it was always easy to keep them tightened up. I like these so much that I'm getting a 2nd pair and using my old pair as spares.
