Strengths:    They breath great...they are very light in weight and no "hot spots" while riding. They look great, when not wearing socks.

Weaknesses:    Narrow fit....need a narrow foot with medium to low arch to take advantage of the BOA slip on design or subject your feet and shoes ot body glide. Even with the titanium frame, the sole is too flexible for my taste. I was overwhelmingly disappointed by the performance of the shoe when riding. The sole is so much thinner than a typical carbon sole, you feel like you have to adjust the seat down.
I used them for 4 races and have since gone back to my road specific shoes.

Bottom Line:
I was hooked into buying due to the prospects of a shoe that was quick in transition, on and off, comfortable for the long-coarse and was from the Northwave family of fine cycling shoes.

Strengths:    Very breathable and light, good looking shoe that not everyone will have.

Weaknesses:    Design doesn't work.

Bottom Line:
Bought these online without seeing them in person and now regret it. The idea is impressive but the execution doesn't quite work out. I cannot get into the shoe while it is clipped on the pedal. The top portion of the shoe is held down by a string that connects to a piece of velcro that wraps around the heel. In theory you should be able to pop the shoe on and tighten it in a quick motion. Unfortunately the foot opening is too small and the lack of material causes the top to cave in, so no getting the shoe on while riding.
