Strengths:    Stiff and light. Buckle allows for very minute adjustments.

Weaknesses:    Could be stiffer and lighter. Oddly colored. One thing I would change is that the buckle, which rotates, tightens on the right foor by rotating it forward, while the left rotates toward the rear while tightening. I know that's because they're both screws, but it's not natural when making on the fly adjustments.
It needs those little bumps on the toe and the heels so that a little walking in them doesn't as greatly reduce the lifespan of the shoe.

Bottom Line:
Overall, this is a good shoe. They're fairly light and fairly stiff although there are stiffer and lighter.

Strengths:    stiff light (not the lightest)

Weaknesses:    not enough colors to choose from.

Bottom Line:
Let me summerize.. if you have pain in your feet..unless its pinched toes or blisters on the heal.. its the rider..either an orthopedic problem (wedges and inserts to fix) or its strickly poor mechanics while pedaling. 95% of all cycling shoes over $25 are sufficiently stiff enuf to prvent any foot problem do to arch flexion.. the better shoes... just dont flex at all.
anyone can get a real good bicycle shoe.. by any name brand manufacturor for around $100.. the price goes up the more exotic you wish to get..the weight of the shoe is of little consequence.. unless your a weight weenie and need everything as light as possible.. for bragging purposes. This shoes is no better..NOR no worse than any other $200 cycling shoe.. a bit heavier cuz it isnt a carbon shoe.. if you have any discomfort in the wedge of any shoe.. get inserts.. you can buy specialized BG inserts and replace the stock insole with them... (the bg insert without a doubt is the best on the market) 30+ years in the saddle I do know a little about it.

Strengths:    Stiff. On the fly adjustability.

Weaknesses:    Chronic sore spots, weight, price, and Mario never actually wore these, contrary to advertising claims.

Bottom Line:
Really not a good shoe by any means. Maybe they're just not made for my feet, but I frequently have terrible pains in my feet after 3 hours in the saddle, at first I dismissed the pain because I figured they needed to be broken in, but a year later, I still have problems. The strap system is convenient for on the bike adjustability, but that's the only thing this shoe has going for it. It's also one of the heaviest shoes available.
