used egg beaters to start. swapped those out for quattros. i like the platform of quattros for my gearie, the eggbeaters for my fixie. Summary:
Review for Lazer 2 (a nashbar exclusive!).
always went cheap with shoes. the first pair of road shoes i bought made my toes numb no matter what i did, plus i had some hot spots. i really wanted some sidis with a ratchet, but didnt wanna spend the cash. these went down to $119 for a week, so i jump on them.
i love them. fit like a glove. not a bad thing to say about them. i will never go back to cheap shoes. Strengths:

cleat markings on the bottom to help setup.

Weaknesses:
i hate the fact you have to cut into the shoe from the inside. they can manufacture the insoles to have perforations to cut along. why not just cut through? Similar Products Used:
