at I cant remember Favorite Ride: anything flat and fast. Bike Setup: Colnago C 50, Campy record, deda carbon bars, stella maris carbon wheels Summary: I have owned these shoes for 4 years I think, maybe more. The only problem I have had is one of the adjusters on the bottom fell out. Sidi sent a new one in 3 days. All buckle and straps work well, never a problem. Strengths: Lorica is awesome, wet 100's of time, always dried like new. "fishing line adjusters, once set, never have to be messed with, and the buckle system has been perfect. Hugs my foot like a slipper. I love that all the parts are replaceable if needed Weaknesses: That stupid adjuster??? I just cranked it all the way stiff, been there for years. Similar Products Used: Nike, the blue and bright yellow Sidi's (loved them too!)

at eBay Favorite Ride: Any Bike Setup: Merlin Agilis with Shimano parts. Summary: Went back to Sidi after trying two different sizes of the Shimano R215. Could not get along with the Shimano. Something new and annoying hits me everytime I used them. Just when I thought I have everythind dialed, I get disappointed. Alas, I decided to go back to Sidi. I bought my pair on eBay without hesitation. Like my past Sidi shoes, they came in without any need for break-in. It was race ready! Sidi is it for me! Never again would I stray away from these great shoes. Now I am considering their Ergo 2 model (",) Strengths: COMFORT, COMFORT, COMFORT. It felt better climbing than the ultra stiff Shimano R215. I can ride forever on this type of shoes. Micro adjustment capabilities allows you to fit and conform the shoes to your feet properly. Weaknesses: Not as stiff if you are a sprinting junkie! Similar Products Used: Shimano R215, Sidi Genius 4.

at Probikekit.com Favorite Ride: River Road in Rockledge FL Bike Setup: 2004 Trek 5200 Summary: Ordered these after my second pair of Nike Poggios came apart. I wanted a shoe with a carbon sole and these are $150-$200 less than the Sidi Ergos Strengths: Great fit
They look awesome-more color selection than the G-5 and Ergo
Easy to walk in and clip in compared to my other carbon soled shoes.
Replaceable parts.
Less expensive with the same features as the Ergo. Weaknesses: Not available in the USA Similar Products Used: Nike Poggio

at Ebay, budget heaven Favorite Ride: Sacramento River Ride (fast and flat!) Bike Setup: 2001 Felt F65, Ultegra/DA mix, VeloCarbon bars and seatpost, Reynolds Ouzo comp fork, ITM stem, FSA Gossamer cranks, Fizik Arione, American Classic 420. Summary: My first SIDI. Scored a great deal on Ebay. Used with probably 1000 miles, with one missing barrel adjuster in the sole of the right shoe, but otherwise, great shape. Already broken in. I have a wide feet, so at first, it felt narrow, size 43 (45.3 might be better), but once on the bike and pedaling, it was fine. I rode the Sierra Century (CA) with no problems (besides extreme cramping on 7,500ft of climbing). Buckles were very helpful on the pedal strokes. My last shoes were northwave 3 velcro strap system at a size too large (equivalent to a 44.5), so too big and loose. The SiDi's were more snug, lighter, comfortable, and nice agressive looks. Strengths: Looks, buckles, comfort, fit. Weaknesses: Narrow, price(if new) Similar Products Used: Northwave Evolutions
