Strengths: Rubber heels
3 straps
Body geometry design which tilts the arch at the correct angle
Weaknesses: Sizing was a bit weird. I normally take a UK5 (I'm English so I know!) which is equivalent to a Euro 38. However, what I ended up buying - according to the box and label in the the shoe itself was a UK 7.5 (which the label says equates to a Euro 39/US 8.5). Well in Europe, a 39 = UK6 not UK7.5. SO all a bit bizarre - just be careful if buying mail-order!
Bottom Line:
Note these were $170 Aussie dollars - not sure hwat that is in US$. I bought these as I already own the Specialized women's MTB comp 02 shoes. They are very secure with the 3 straps. I have wide feet so these were a good fit. I tried some Shimanos and the tongues were too high and dug in too much when I flexed my ankle. They are stiff soled and I love riding in them. One of the best features is the rubber heels, which are non slip. I'm using them with Look pp396 pedals
