Strengths:    None, Inexpensive maybe

Weaknesses:    Flex to much poor fit for duck feet.

Bottom Line:
Crap total crap, THe soles flex so bad you feel the ribs in the ball of your feet. I don't weigh but 165 and am not a stomping type rider. I spin and they still suck.

Strengths:    $14 -- can't beat the price. found these in the outlet bin in a box marked size 36, but they were 46! score! comfy, roomy, have held up well so far, no problems. contrary to popular opinion, i find specialized equipment and bikes to be quite well made and rider-oriented for my needs.

Weaknesses:    none so far

Bottom Line:
nice, roomy, comfy, and have taken moderate abuse very well. i got an excellent price, but they are worth (to me) up to around $60.

Strengths:    Better than sneakers

Weaknesses:    Too heavy, I get hot spots on my feet on rides over 3 hours, finish is wearing poorly

Bottom Line:
I bought these shoes because they fit a little better than the too tight Diadora's I used to use. But, after longer term use I regret not spending an extra $50 for some better shoes. These are very heavy, and even though the sole seems very stiff, I get painful hotspots in the balls of my feet on longer rides. I'm shopping for something new

Rolf Vector Comp vs Mavic Ksyrium Elite

I have two quite different bikes from 1999 that I ride occasionally, but only occasionally, and both have similar wheelsets. Both are 9 speed so compatibility is fine. Wondering which wheels to keep. One bike is a Reynolds 853 drop bar racing bike, the other is a Trek Y-Foil setup for Tri. One ... Read More »

Allez Comp, Tarmac, or Upgrade base Allez?

So I'm kinda stuck here. I have a 2012 Allez (base) that used to have the 2300 shifters. Since then, I've upgraded my shifters and both derailleurs (to 105), cassette (Tiagra), and chain (SRAM PC-1031). I am pleased with the results so far. I've lost at least 15lbs since I started biking this winter ... Read More »

Specialized Allez Comp v.s Cervelo Team Soloist

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum and new to cycling as well. I've tried to do as much research as possible but this doesn't appear to be a typical comparison for obvious reasons. I'm looking for a solid bike to perform as a road bike as well as being able to use in Tri's if that becomes my main ... Read More »

Did I do ok? Fuji Cross Comp

I've been looking on Craigs list for a while for a used drop bar bike I can use on the trainer and ride on gravel roads or inclimate weather. Found an 09 Fuji Cross Comp listed for $600 and got it for $520. A few minor scratches but looks good and judging from the tires and cassette etc looks to b ... Read More »
