$60.00 Bike Setup: Speedplay Summary: I bought these online during a clearance sale. These are by far my favorite shoes! My transition times improved dramatically as it is so easy to leave the shoes on the bike for T2 because of the two straps and the big loop at the back. Very comfortable to ride without socks as well. Strengths: Speedy transitions. Comfort. Style. Weaknesses: Leather part of straps detached from actual velcro. Superglue to the rescue! Similar Products Used: Time Equippe Pro, Carnac Ellipse

$0.00 Summary: A stable shoe with plenty of room for my feet. I have a unique foot that has a large volume but is somewhat narrow. These shoes fit me perfectly. They are very light and work very well with SPD-SL's. Strengths: Lightweight
Quick transitions
White "Euro p:mp" look Weaknesses: Don't work well with Speedplays Similar Products Used: Shimano R212, Adidas Adistar

at local bicycle shop Bike Setup: Cannondale Road Silk Summary: Trouble for me. First the "mesh-net" that wraps around your foot is similar to the old Nike Sockliner Racing Flat from the late 1980s but it uses a thin elastic strap to attach to the shoe cover. This elastic strap constantly got twisted on my foot upon entry and I needed to readjust it for comfort. Not good at all for fast transitions. Secondly, the toe box is extremely pointed and lacks sufficent toe box height. I have used Time Road Shoes since 1988 and bought this Time Triathlon shoe in 2001. Not a good purchase at all. Totalcycling.com lists this shoe as "triathlon shoe of the year". I guess my American foot (size 47) is shaped different. Strengths: Interface between shoe and pedal is this shoes strength. Weaknesses: Fit. Similar Products Used: Time Road Shoes
