Strengths:    Solid and comfortable

Weaknesses:    Older versions were better, the new one with the red chamois wears poorly. Stitching has come apart after one season. I would not purchase this item again.

Bottom Line:
Ok item but do not expect a long product life. This product appears designed to fail after one year.

Strengths:    Construction. Great pad

Bottom Line:
The East Canyon Bib is a great bib for $25 delivered. It appears short in the torso and when you first put it on, it feels short and the pad is out of place. But as soon as you start moving the bib bottom rises up, they no longer feel short and the pad magically gets perfectly positioned. The pad itself is quite stiff and feels like an hourglass under your crotch. This goes away in the saddle. The pad is not even noticeable when perched on a Selle Italia SLR. Even though the bib has only six panels it does not bunch at all. The lycra is heavier than all my other bibs, but not hot. Muscle support is great. One very nice touch is the embroidered logo. The logo will not start to crack or peal after being washed. Highly recommend this bib.

Weaknesses:    Bad fit.

Bottom Line:
I could not use these shorts. The pad
does not come up far enough in back to
fully hit my sit bones.

Strengths:    Comfort, fit, washability

Weaknesses:    None

Bottom Line:
These shorts are my current favorites. The quality of the fabric rules over the most expensive Pearl Uzumi's. The fabric is softer than the Pearl's and very comfortable. The chamois is of the same level quality as the Pearl and much better than the Castelli red diaper. They come out of the wash in good shape

Rock bottom deals on shorts.

These guys have been around since the 70's. Although I have never tried their stuff, it does look like every other bit of cycling clothing thats out these days. http://www.blackbottoms.com/BBCW2010/Products/Sale/Liq_items/WomensBottoms.htmlRead More »
