Summary: These things are great. The shin and knee padding keeps the wind out and those vunerable parts warm. The extra layer of reasonably heavy lycra elsewhere provides sufficient warmth for winter.
Strengths: Because they have no padded seat they don't take long to dry. You only need one pair of these and two or three pairs of padded shorts for daily winter riding.
Weaknesses: None.
