Strengths:    They are INDESTRUCTIBLE. I wiped out several times in them and they are still looking new. Had them for almost 10 years now. They are tight fitting at first when you put them on as compared to roadie shorts or other offroad shorts but after you start riding....you don't notice much.

Weaknesses:    Maybe a bit more elasticity in the waistband as it does have to functional webbing belt to keep them up. Hard to find too these days. Anyone know what's up with the company? Time for me to get a new pair!

Bottom Line:
Love these shorts. I don't have the Lites but the regular heavier versions. They do get a bit hot as compared to the other lighter shorts on the market but I swear by the toughness as I have ripped shorts on trails from nicking trees, rocks, etc but in these....they rip the frigging branches off instead! Honest. I just tear through all mountain trails and these stick with me all the way. I got these like an earlier reviewer when LHW just started out years ago with their small ad in the zines and I took a chance ordering them. When they arrived....I knew these were like nothing I had or have seen since.
