Strengths: Great padding - you'll be comfy even if you're in the saddle for 4 or 5 hours. (I can't attest to anything longer than 5 but I think you'd be good to go...)Weaknesses: Kind of feels like a diaper, but only when compared to tri shorts which barely have padding.Bottom Line: Bought these after I tried a few different shorts on at REI. Wanted good padding as I was just starting to ride. Padding is great. Shorts are very durable and hold up through many washing machine cycles (they don't go in the dryer though). I went back and bought another pair. Hits upper-mid thigh. Perfect for warm climates. They are reasonably priced, comfortable, and are durable!
Favorite Ride: 2-3 hour weekend ride
Price Paid:
$40.00
Purchased At: REI
Similar Products Used: tri shorts
Bike Setup: entry level road bike (trek 1000) with various upgrades, though still pretty low-end.
