at army navy store Summary: i bought these at an army navy store for what i knew was a bit of an overcharge, but it was convienient and my feet were COLD and wet. from riding with these on every weekday throughout the winter for a solid 8 hours a day (messenger) i can tell you that although they rock hard for the first few hours they start to take in water by hour 3, but even wet they still do alot to keep your feet warm. my only complaint is that they started to wear through almost immediately, i now have two holes in the toes about half the size of dimes, the back of the ankles are visibly wearing through, and the seams that hold the semi elastic bit at the top are partially torn. i hear you can send them back in to the manufacturer and get a replacement pair free of charge, so i won't complain that much. even worn through they were still a lifesaver during the pgh winter. Strengths: keep yopu feet dry for a few hours, and after that help keep them semi warm. Weaknesses: wear through with constant hardcore use (but what doesn't?). Similar Products Used: platic bags and packing tape.
