Also, the lack of a chamois makes these bib tights ideal for all forms of winter recreation from cycling to Nordic skiing. Gore Bike Wear's Phantom SO Bib Tights are made from Gore's patented WindStopper Soft Shell fabric. Like its name suggests, WindStopper is windproof, but it's also water-resistant and highly breathable. In combination with the Phantom SO's full-leg, high-torso design, the bib tights provide total insulation by trapping a layer of warm air above the skin while allowing excess heat and moisture to escape. The Bib Tights also feature a precise, anatomical fit with a design that provides a barely-there wear quality. To achieve this, Gore incorporated shifted seams throughout the tights, pre-shaped knees, and used adjustable elastic bib straps to guarantee a personalized fit. Additionally, the Bib Tights use gripper elastic at the leg cuffs, and the bib strap panel is removable, so the Phantoms can be worn as tights or a bib. For use as tights, the waistband is fully adjustable.
