Strengths:    huge selection of colors, has a nicer feel, cushioning, and look then Cenelli bar tape.

Weaknesses:    Color isnt what i expected. I think it would be the case with most of the colors they have. So be careful which color you order. Also the bar end caps would not stay in.

Bottom Line:
I've only used two other brand bar tapes this being the second best i have used so far. The Giant gel bar tape my bike came with has better feel and, cushioning to it.

Strengths:    Incredibly confortable non-gloved. Holds up quite well to my use.

Weaknesses:    Not too fond of how the sticky comes up during a re-wrap. Red color seems to attract dirt + grease easily, but, does come clean easily also.

Bottom Line:
This is my first road bike post a mid 80's Raleigh, and I choose this tape based on review and colors. Its held up quite well, and I just wrapped my bars with a second package of tape (first set was badly damaged due to my carelessness.) I rode an MS150 with the tape only, and no gloves (I found it more comfortable to ride without the gloves) So, a one day century, and then 62 miles the next day with no hand pain.

Strengths:    Cheap.
Durable(For all versions).
Easy to find-they're almost anywhere.

Weaknesses:    easy to gather dirt(for the cork version).

Bottom Line:
In the time period in using this bartape,I feel comfortable, but don't have any special feeling about it.I won't say they're quite superior to other bartape like Bikeribbon or Cinelli,Fizik(I think it's the best),etc...but they're cheap enough, and easy to find.

Handlebar Tape

I'm shopping for handlebar tape, and am comparing Fizik Performance and Lizard Skins 2,5mm tape. Any thoughts or opinions/preferences? The Lizard Skins are fairly expensive, and I don't know if they're worth the extra cash. I have a Fizik saddle and road shoes, and am sold on both.Read More »

Orange handlebar tape

Dumb request, but interested to see pictures of bikes sporting orange tape on an orange frame. I have a 2011 Salsa Vaya and trying to get an idea of what that would look like. Thanks for your time, KevinRead More »

Wrapping cables underneath handlebar tape

At the 3:20 mark in this video of Contador's mechanic building up the bike, it's interesting how the mechanic wraps electrical tape over the entire bar & bare cables. Anyone else done it that way, and why did you prefer it? I've usually just taped down the cables in 3-4 spots, then wrapped ... Read More »

Campy Ultrashift Lever Handlebar Tape Routing...
