3T, which allows proportional weight reductions as the breaking load is 15% higher than the Al 7075 alloy. Less 199 is drawn at triple thickness and MHaB® treated (Molecular Hardening Beam) which improves the fatigue resistance of the material by 35-40%.
Weaknesses: May have production variation in weight. My 42cm bar weighed 213 grams.
Bottom Line:
The bar geometry is ok -- I got the 42cm length and it weighed 213 grams -- not 199. I measured this on an Ohaus balance scale with calibrated weights. But overall the bar is still light and it is surprisingly very stiff. My only bad issue is that length of the bar in the drops is not that long -- 1cm shorter than the length of Cinelli Altera bars. The bar has grooves for brake cables.
