Summary: Broke two EC90 Pro handlebars in insignificant events. Both broke in the same place - the beginning of the first bend off the flats. The first set snapped clean through when my bike tipped over in the parking lot. The second set snapped through when I tipped over on the bike in a moment of stupidity at the top of a steep climb (and my body hit the ground first, taking most of the impact). I've lost trust in Easton products.
Prior to breaking, they were quite nice. Very stiff and a nice shape (Pro bend). In any case, I'm through with using carbon handlebars by any manufacturer. There's no benefit. My aluminum Deda Newton and FSA Energy T are just as stiff, only 15 grams heavier, and half the price or less.
Strengths: Nice shape (Pro), Very stiff when pedaling out of the saddle and in the drops.
Weaknesses: Weakness! Fragile.
Similar Products Used: Deda Newton, Giant Racing Components, FSA Energy T, Ritchey, etc. etc...

Summary: These bars are alright. They're strong, stiff, and light but the bend in them isn't so great on the OS model. I did notice a comfort difference right after getting them. They seem to absorb some of the road shock and are more forgiving than alloy bars. I got rid of them though due to the bend.
Summary: These are a relatively lightweight handlebar - but I think meant more for lightweight riders since the heavier folks complain of flex. I am light at 135 pounds - and I can flex them on hard climbs, but only a little. I had previously crashed a set of these into my carport - and they held up fine (I bought a new set anyhow just in case). I have had these for several years now, and have confidence in them.
Strengths: lightweight, good ergonomics
Weaknesses: ugly red color that gets covered in tape anyhow, expensive, flexy for larger riders

Bike Setup: Easton EC-90 seat post, superlite Easton EC-90 fork, Scattante CFR LE carbon with full dura ace.
Summary: Very dissapointed in Easton and these bars. I am 6 foot and 200 pounds and generally an agressive road rider. The flex on these bars is scary and dissapointing. You can actually move the bars back and forth with ease (flex). Try standing up in the saddle going up a hill and be careful, flex, flex, flex. They never snapped on me like the previous reviewer but I can definatly see that happening. I have always been partial to easton products but this one should not be allowed till the product is upgraded for more stability.
Strengths: Light weight
Weaknesses: Flex,Uncomfortable on longer rides of 60, Flex
