Strengths:    very stiff
another colour option beside black...
lightweight
enough adjustability
building not that low as other bars do, enabling to ride a certain position without using spacers on the fork (bar spacers included- grommet like-lifts up the pads)

Weaknesses:    no internal cable routing possible in the extensions
(neither in the ski bends nor in the s-bends)

Bottom Line:
aerobars:
i was riding profile products so far, but after my cx 1.5 became a case for warranty last autumn i decided to switch over to bontrager (nearly same price but lighter, stiffer and as i think an absolute beauty queen under the aerobars)

the height
to come up with the height again, my fear was that it would build too high for my "used to" aero position.
but it's just the right height, i used to ride the cx with approx. 3cm spacers and now i ride nearly the same height but without spacers (more aesthetic and a stiffer bar fork behavior as i think)

the cable routing
the routing in the base bar is very good, just push it through and it'll come out at the end, small wholes, very tidy...
while on the cx it was a big whole where you had to fish for it!
unfortunately on the extensions that kind of perfection wasn't continued.
no chance for internal routing

the Pads
i once read a review on emerys where they said the Pads would be more sth 4 a time trialist than for triathletes, so far i think you can ride it without problems but certainly profiles f19 pads would be more stable(my very own opinion).
these two pads should be compatible!

degestion
very good but no experience on the long run...

Extensions
bontrager offers two versions, the white ski bend and the glossy carbon look s-bend, but you can also use other products like Oval concepts or Profile design

perfect bar:
Base bar wold stay bontager, as extensions i'd use the Profile T2 carbon and as armrest the mentioned F19

if you got any questions concerning the bar just mail me, I'd be happy to answer 'n discuss

cheers from Austria
