at Total Cycling Bike Setup: Look 585, Campag Record, Ksyrium ES, Look seatpost, Thomson X2 stem, Selle Italia SLC saddle Summary: These bars feel quite thin and look fairly fragile, and I was expecting them to be a little flexy. However, in use they have been very stiff and robust, surviving a crash that damaged both shifters, but leaving the bars without a scratch. They're not especially light and they don't seem to absorb as much road buzz as the Bontrager carbon bars on my Trek, but neither of these are a real concern to me. The ergo bends are (to me) comfortable, including in the drops. I have been very happy with these handlebars and would buy them again. Strengths: The usual stuff - strong and stiff. They also look very good. Weaknesses: Limited range of positions to mount shifters. Not especially light. Similar Products Used: Bontrager carbon bars (also very good, if uglier), and a selection of aluminium bars.
