Product Description

The NEO CARBO handlebar, twelve layers of high modulus Carbon fibre set new performance standards both in terms of lightness and resistance to flexure. A result never achieved on a non-integrated version. A multi-layered structure allows to optimise the wall thickness depending on the stress points. Weight, look and performance to the maximum level are enhanced when combined to the NEO CARBO stem.

Strengths:    The usual stuff - strong and stiff. They also look very good.

Weaknesses:    Limited range of positions to mount shifters. Not especially light.

Bottom Line:
These bars feel quite thin and look fairly fragile, and I was expecting them to be a little flexy. However, in use they have been very stiff and robust, surviving a crash that damaged both shifters, but leaving the bars without a scratch. They're not especially light and they don't seem to absorb as much road buzz as the Bontrager carbon bars on my Trek, but neither of these are a real concern to me. The ergo bends are (to me) comfortable, including in the drops. I have been very happy with these handlebars and would buy them again.
